8-27-10: I won't be doing much here with the distro in the next few weeks as I am easing into a new place and transitioning back into work and such. 8-8-10: I changed the shipping policy. It is now a flat rate of $2.50 for the first item and $5 for everything after that you order in the US. So 2 things or 8 shipping is the same small rate. I will now ship outside the US just email me first for shipping rates.

7-26-10: Welcome to Pirate Ship Records. This is the grand opening of my new webstore. I plan on loading these pages up with a ton of stuff about artists and music. Hey all my name is Jason I am a DIY one person record distro, I have messed around with the idea of starting a label forever. I have always admired those who ran distros and labels who turned me onto bands that I would have never heard about. I have an idea in my head that I suppose I owe something to those who did the same for me. I love music and I love learning about it, and hearing more of it.
Origin of the name:
The name is from a song by my favorite band The Mighty Mighty BossToneS - Pirate Ship

I specialize in the analog music format because this is simply the way music is supposed to be heard. I do have CDs but they are mostly because they cheap to make and easy to produce.
